Aspinwall Borough Media Policy

To ensure a more efficient and effective response to your coverage of Aspinwall Borough’s happenings, we are implementing a streamlined line of communication. Please take note of the following guidelines:

1) Please direct all questions, requests, and comments to both Borough Manager, Melissa O'Malley and Council President, Tim McLaughlin. If it is a police department related matter, please direct questions to both Melissa and Mayor Joe Noro. It is preferred that you send one email to Melissa O’Malley and copy the other person as stated above. We will involve other council members, or the solicitor as needed. We will not address any email sent to just one of us. If you have a follow up question or are seeking clarity from a specific council member, please copy Melissa and Tim on that follow up email.

2) Please make all requests via email, and we will respond within 24 hours.

3) If a council member contacts you directly, feel free to engage in conversation. However, the current council prefers a more streamlined approach listed above, so please keep that in mind.

4) Please note that this guideline does not apply to any election, or candidate requests to speak about their candidacy.

5) If you would like to arrange an in-person meeting with Melissa or Tim McLaughlin, please send an email to schedule an appointment.
