Response to all assistance and service requests within the Borough are provided by six (6) highly skilled full-time police officers using modern vehicles and equipment.  John Sabol is the Chief of Police.  The other five full-time officers are: Daniel Ament, David Komora, Shawn McMinn, David Nemec and Sgt. The Borough residents are served by state of the art equipped and well-trained volunteer staffed fire stations. All new fire department volunteers attend basic and advanced training courses in fire fighting and fire prevention. For information on becoming a volunteer firefighter call the non-emergency number at the First Street Station at (412) 781-0447

Firemen’s Memorial Park

Firemen’s Memorial Park located at the end of Ninth Street , has a public shelter for rent. The rental fee is $50.00 (subject to change) and non-refundable. The park is available April 15th thru October 15th. Alcohol permits are available. Rentals are first come first served to Borough residents only. Stop in the Borough office Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm or call (412) 781-0213 to check on availability.
